Austin Farmers' Market at Triangle Park, Austin, TX

(Salado, TX)

Okay, I have been spoiled. Before moving back to Southern California, I frequented this Farmers Market weekly for about four years... straight.
And, I looked forward to it, every week.

I loved it, and honestly, can't imagine anything better.

I would drive an hour from Salado, shop at the nearly 100,000 square foot Austin Whole Foods for about an hour and then head on over and finish up on Guadalupe.

Here were my weekly staples:

Loncito's Lamb-Get the shanks! He is a great guy, and he seems to always have a family member their if he isn't.

Peach Creek Farm-Their pork is amazing. The thick chops are crazy good. If you are into dogs, check out theirs, as well as their dog treats.

Blackland Prairie Farm-Say Hi! to Carin, and get some of the Easter Eggs from their Arcana Chickens. I eat about two dozen eggs a week, and I can tell you that these eggs are excellent, truly special. They also have some nice produce here as well.

Of course they also have great sources for produce as well, plus, grass fed beef and buffalo.
This HAS to be a TOP 10 Farmers Market in the United States.
Simply amazing.

It IS the best!

Austin is great for a number of things.
AND this is one of them.
I love it! Though this is my favorite of the Austin Farmers Markets, there are others, and they are top notch as well.
